Relaxation

Do you want to learn to really and truly deeply relax? - to be able to access deep relaxation rapidly and anywhere?

Many of us carry around tension in our bodies, worry in our minds and do not know how to relax ourselves. Many do not know what it feels like to be completely relaxed. 

This is a skill that can be learned. And it brings many benefits. I can teach you how to deeply relax yourself, through using muscle relaxation, self-hypnosis and mindfulness techniques. You can experience this not only in the therapy room but learn to relax yourself anywhere, more and more quickly. You will become more efficient, not wasting energy on unnecessarily holding muscle tension; you will be able to cope better with situations that might have previously given you some anxiety; you will find your sleep improves and you will feel less troubled by pain; there are even proven benefits for blood pressure through regularly deeply relaxing.

Even if you have no specific worries or problems, you can benefit from acquiring the skill of relaxation and enjoy the experience of being in a deeply relaxed state. I would love to share the skills I have learned and from which I have benefitted.

Combining logic with imagination along with other strategies I use a CBT approach combined with hypnosis to enable you to start facing your fear with confidence and safety, initially in the therapy room and then in your life. You'll learn what it means to feel truly relaxed and empowered and acquire strategies you can take with you to apply more generally in your life. In a sense, overcoming your phobia is a retraining of your mind and body - a reconditioning of your nervous system. What has been learned can be unlearned!
