Social Anxiety

Social anxiety (or social phobia) is common, but  far less talked about than simple phobias. It causes fear in any sort of social situation where other people are present.

If you have social anxiety you may worry about other people's opinions of you, that they are judging you negatively; you may think you are going to make a fool of yourself in front of others; you may worry intensely for days before a social situation; you may have intense fear of public speaking or parties or eating in front of others; you may simply avoid all social situations for fear of not being able to cope.

You don't need to "put up with" feeling this way! CBT has been shown to help significantly with social anxiety, and this approach when combined with hypnosis using imaginal exposure is a very powerful therapeutic strategy.

It is one of the most rewarding conditions to treat because of the likelihood of success. You really can learn to be a more confident you. You will be amazed at how effective this treatment approach is for you.

"Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony" - Mahatma Ghandi
